Hope Connections for Cancer Support

  • Young Adults with Cancer
    • A bi-monthly support group held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Beaumont House in Bethesda. To join this support group, contact 301.634.7500 to schedule a mandatory orientation session

INOVA/ Life with Cancer

  • Young Adult Group
    • This is not your grandmother’s support group. We talk about the things that no one else wants to talk about: dating, employment, fertility, and anything else that affects people in the 18-39 age range. Meets monthly at Life with Cancer Family Center, 8411 Pennell St, Fairfax, VA, 22031-4505
  • Young Women with Breast Cancer- Fair Oaks
    • Women in their 20s, 30s and 40s with non-metastatic breast cancer and from diagnosis up to one-year completion of active treatment, are invited to meet with others in a supportive environment to learn how to best navigate survivorship.  Meets monthly at Fair Oaks Cancer Center, Life with Cancer Suite, Lower Level, Suite 005, 3580 Joseph Siewick Drive, Fairfax, VA, 22033
  • Young Women with Breast Cancer- Alexandria
    • Women in their 20s, 30s and 40s with non-metastatic breast cancer and from diagnosis up to one-year completion of active treatment, are invited to meet with others in a supportive environment to learn how to best navigate survivorship.  Meets monthly at Inova Alexandria Hospital Cancer Center Waiting Room, 4320 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA, 22304

  • Young Women Metastatic Breast Cancer Group
    • An online support group for women in their 20s, 30s and 40s who are navigating the world of metastatic breast cancer.

Nueva Vida

  • Nueva Vida Grupo de Apoyo (en Español) 
    • Nueva Vida tendrá grupos de apoyo que se enfocan en el apoyo al trauma asociado con el diagnóstico de cáncer. Estos grupos proporcionan a las latinas la oportunidad de identificar y expresar sus sentimientos, en un lugar seguro, y lleno de empatía, así como compartir sus sentimientos con otras personas que están o han pasado por similares circunstancias. Las reuniones semanales, se combinan con una actividad de reducción del estrés (Zumba o Yoga).

Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults

  • “Where YA Meet”
    • “Where YA Meet” is a monthly social get-together for young adults (ages 18 through 39) who are currently in treatment for cancer or post-treatment. Through guest speakers, social activities, and community excursions, “Where YA Meet” aims to connect, engage, and build support and camaraderie among young adults. “Where YA Meet” is held the second Tuesday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m (unless otherwise noted). Location varies based on the monthly social activity. Dinner, snacks, and/or light fare will be served. Attendees are welcome to bring a guest. RSVPs are required. Young Survival Coalition

  • Face2Face Meetups
    • Designed for breast cancer survivors diagnosed in their 40’s or younger regardless of current age. There is an active groups serving the Washington DC area. To participate in monthly meet-ups, click the link above and connect with your preferred location.
